Aerial Thermographic surveys can be used to identify problems or carry out survey work not possible from ground level. Aerial thermographic surveys need high resolution equipment and gives us the ability to cover vast landscapes and large building areas.
An aerial survey can be conducted relatively easily and inexpensively. We can arrange all aspects of the survey leaving you to just identify exactly what your issues are and to await a professional and comprehensive report.
Our high resolution cameras allow us to work at height and cover large areas and buildings quickly. We video the survey and collate numerous images to help our highly trained engineers ensure they have the information to allow a correct diagnosis to be made.
We have been used to carry out a variety of inspections. Typical applications include:
- Locating leaks in flat roofs
- Assessment of heat loss in buildings
- Animal counts
- Water course mapping
- Location of underground pipe or drainage leaks
- District or estate heat loss surveys
One of the benefits of a thermographic aerial survey (usually conducted from a helicopter) is that a large area of land or buildings can be covered in a short period of time. In addition, the view from above allows us to carry out a much more detailed analysis of your facility which when produced in a report is very clear and concise.
We can arrange all aspects of a thermographic survey making the process very easy but highly beneficial to you. We conduct work to your exact requirements or can offer advice on the extent of the survey.
Prior to the survey we will provide you with a full risk assessment and method statement detailing how we conduct the thermographic survey and the precautions we take to ensure our work is completed safely and efficiently.
