The Great Pyramids at Giza - And Evidence of Air Pollution Across the City

During a visit to Egypt to give presentations to a number of leading petrochemical industry representatives we couldn't resist visiting the pyramids at Giza and recorded a series of thermal images which allowed us to produce this amazing panoramic view. The images were captured in the morning just after sunrise so we can see the slight rise in temperatures of the Eastern faces of the pyramids. Also in the distance we can seen the air pollution layer hanging over the city - which is highlighted by the clear cold sky above.
