We carry out a wide & varied range of inspections for our clients which include thermal imaging surveys of electrical systems, water leak surveys, building inspections and specialist survey activities for the oil & gas industry. We also carry out specialist inspections including ultrasonic compressed air leak surveys and electronic roof leak detection surveys.

This is an exciting chance to join our busy & growing team. Due to the continued demand for our services, we are seeking to recruit a Thermal Imaging Surveyor. Full training will be provided for the right individual to join our small team and you can expect an interesting, challenging and dynamic role. This opportunity would suit someone who is keen to learn new skills, is hardworking, paying attention to detail and who is prepared to become a key member of the team to develop the business.
Key duties will include:
- Carry out thermal imaging surveys nationwide.
- Carry out compressed air leak surveys.
- Carry out electronic roof leak detection surveys
- Generate detailed reports utilising our reporting software.
- Discussing suitable survey options with clients.
- Adhering to all our health & safety requirements.
- Undertaking training & certification courses.
Full training and coaching on all aspects of the role will be provided and it is our aim to provide a long term employment opportunity for the right individual.
You must have a good electrical maintenance background.
Knowledge of buildings and construction would be an advantage.
You’ll need at least 3 GCSEs (or equivalent) at grade C or above. These will include Maths and English. You’ll be able to use Microsoft office applications and have great customer care skills. A good communicator, you’ll get along well with others, be organised and have good attention to detail. Self-motivation and a can do approach are important. And of course you’ll be willing to learn and develop.
You must be prepared to work some unsociable hours, stay away from home on a regular basis, travel throughout the UK and eventually be able to work well with little or no supervision.
Additional Key Requirements:
- Full Clean Driving License.
- Desire to Learn.
- Highly Computer Literate – Excellent Microsoft Word and Excel Skills.
- Excellent Communication Skills (Verbal and Written).
- Physically Fit
- Ability to Work in Hot & Cold Environments, Work at Height and possibly Offshore.
