THE ROLE
This is an exciting chance to join our busy & growing team. Due to the continued demand for our services, we are seeking to recruit an experienced Thermal Imaging Surveyor (Thermographer).
We are looking for a Thermographer who has worked in this role or a similar role previously and ideally has experience in conducting corrosion under insulation (CUI) surveys on pipework and vessels, electrical surveys and thermal imaging of buildings.
You will be required to work on offshore platforms so offshore experience and certifications will be required.

Key duties will include:
- Carry out thermal imaging surveys nationwide and on offshore platforms.
- Carry out compressed air leak surveys.
- Carry out electronic roof leak detection surveys
- Generate detailed reports utilising our reporting software.
- Discussing suitable survey options with clients.
- Adhering to all our health & safety requirements.
Full training and coaching on all aspects of the role you may not have experience of will be provided and it is our aim to provide a long-term employment opportunity for the right individual.
THE CANDIDATE
You must have a strong background in conducting and reporting thermal imaging surveys.
Experience of carrying out corrosion under insulation (CUI) surveys is required.
Strong electrical experience would be an advantage.
Knowledge of buildings and construction would be an advantage.
You need to be a certified Thermographer (ideally Level 2) but we will consider applicants who have the right experience and knowledge in this field.
You’ll need at least 3 GCSEs (or equivalent) at grade C or above. These will include Maths and English. You’ll be able to use Microsoft office applications and have great customer service skills. A good communicator, you’ll get along well with others, be organised and have good attention to detail. Self-motivation and a can do approach are important. And of course you’ll be willing to learn and develop.
You must be prepared to work some unsociable hours, stay away from home on a regular basis, travel throughout the UK and eventually be able to work well with little or no supervision.
Additional Key Requirements:
- Full Clean Driving License.
- Desire to Learn.
- Highly Computer Literate – Excellent Microsoft Word and Excel Skills.
- Excellent Communication Skills (Verbal and Written).
- Physically Fit
- Ability to Work in Hot & Cold Environments
- Ability to Work at Height
- Ability to Work Offshore.
